Ashington Stroke Club 2022. I can't believe the gong sent me to sleep!!! It's just so relaxing. Michael's holistic approach is what I have been looking for. For the last two years he has been excellent with his therapies, and we are now having his Gong Baths as well. It has never been something that my husband has really understood but even he now has appreciated the benefits. Michael's note. I have had the privilege to work with the Ashington Stroke Club for over ten years providing them with Chi Kung, Meditation classes and now Gong Baths. If you know someone who has had a stroke and live in South East Northumberland they would be very welcome to join the Ashington stroke club and experience a Gong Bath with the other very friendly inspiriting members. I attended Michael’s gong bath session at Seaton Sluice. I’ve done gong and sound baths before but this was my best experience yet. If you’ve not tried it before I would definitely recommend, it’s very relaxing and hard to put into words how it makes you feel. Perfect start to a Saturday.

Michael is a great therapist. He is warm, friendly and above all, professional. I had a taste of my first ever Gong Bath yesterday. No water or nudity is involved! I lay on a couch feeling comfortable and secure while Michael created the most amazing healing sounds using a single Gong. I was transported to a place of bliss carried on the wings of the sound vibration. A very relaxing session came to an end and I needed some time to feel grounded again. Michael made me a cup of soothing herbal tea and I gradually returned to the land of living. I would highly recommend a session of Gong Bath therapy with Michael Fothergill

Its was lovely to see Michael today, had a gong bath treatment. I wasnt too sure what to expect, it was relaxing, through out the treatment. I suffer with slight back pain and has been on going for a while. I have found since having the gong bath my back feels so much better, i am so chilled. I would definitely recommend trying this. The experience is lovely and will be having more gong baths. Thank you Michael

How Michael blends the crystal, Reiki and sound together is beyond my comprehension, but all I know is it felt great. I dont find it easy to relax, and to begin with I thought the gongs were going to aggravate me a little, but then something happened and wow, I think it must have been the reiki kicking in. I have never been so chilled in my life, and I did at one point see a white light in my head and I felt as if I was floating upwards in the room. I wasn't frightened at all, in fact I felt safe and secure and enjoyed the whole thing. Really the entire experience was totally amazing. I am enjoying the distant healing sessions now, but I think it was nicer with the gongs, what a bonus. Ill be back. Thank you so much Michael.
