Reiki has been around for over a hundred years since Dr Mikao Usui rediscovered it in the early 20th century, prior to this it has been around for thousands of years. As with many of the ancient and more modern healing modalities available today, and the tens of thousands followers and practitioners it has attracted it was inevitable that it would continue to evolve. If you were to do a search of different types of Reiki now you would be looking at over thirty different styles at least.

Micheal has been a qualified practicing Reiki practitioner for over twenty years and in that time as a person, therapist, and spiritualist he to has evolved, broadening and developing his skills through light and sound energy. Clients can choose from traditional,Shamanic, Breath and Crystal Reiki. You can read all about these by clicking on the photo panes on the right. Micheal also offers Reiki training for the absolute beginner with his Level One Reiki course enabling you to use your Reiki healing on Family, friends and pets. For those wanting to work as a Professional Reiki Practitioner you will need to have been practicing at level One for at least nine months before you take your Reiki level Two course. Once qualified you can join a professional association such as the UK Reiki Federation and obtain Professional Reiki Insurance through specialist therapy companies such as Balens, then start working with paying clients. At Level Two you don't need to progress any further, unless you feel you need to move on, and many decide to complete the next stage which is the Reiki Master level.

The Reiki Master level is split into two parts. Each part is taught on a one to one basis. The first part or level 3a as it is also known, takes Reiki students to the ultimate conclusion by offering the third and final attunement, bringing the student the highest vibration, and with it the Reiki Master symbol, this is a triune of all the previous symbols and replaces those given at levels One and Two. Reiki One is based at the physical level, Reiki Two is based at the mental and emotional, and the Reiki Three is the Spiritual Level, aimed at raising and developing your spirituality, and with that, comes enlightenment.

Micheal also offers the Master Teacher level on a one to one basis over two and a half days, on the successful completion of this level enables the Master Teacher to begin their own practice of training students and with it comes the responsibility of bringing Reiki training to all those who are ready to begin their healing journey.

Micheal also has his popular Reiki Refresher Course for those who have not practiced for a while, forgotten, lost their way, or confidence or just want to brush up on their skills. These half day courses are on a one to one basis and Micheal will tailor it exactly to your current level and in particular whatever you want help with, be it connecting to the source, using the symbols, breathwork, meditation, using the preceps, space and self cleansing, working with the chakras, aura and vibration, emphasis on the spiritual aspect, developing Intuition, working with Guides, using portals, consultations, timing of sessions, methods of distant reiki, using a pendulum, and crystals, Cpd activities and recording, codes of practice in fact anything you need help with this half day course will be structured to your needs and will help you build up your confidence and skills so that you can get back in the saddle and start practicing again.
