You are invited onto a very special and magical journey, one that will invoke your inner senses while calming, soothing and balancing your mind and body. Your destination is a place where wellbeing, relaxation and healing abide, a place where altered states of consciousness, plus high vibrational healing energy await you, and each journey promises to be different and different for everyone else.

The Event
With five different Gongs, three Shaman and African Drums, two Ocean Drums, Tambourine, a selection of Rattles, Chimes, Bells and Singing bowls will provide a palette of different sound textures and Soundscapes, all blended with Crystal and Reiki energy using Spiritual Intent to provide you with a Psycho Acoustic experience like no other. Inspired by Shamanic ceremonies three highly skilled, and experienced facilitators are hosting this special event, Jules Buchanan, Michael Fothergill and Jane Mason (you can read more about us in our bios below), will each hold space from the beginning of the session until the sun rises the following morning. The sun will have set before you arrive at our venue at St. George's Church Hall, but you will be welcomed by the adjacent floodlit church and the resonating sound of the church bells. Attendees can arrive at 8:30pm to set up their air beds, zero gravity chairs or sleeping bags with blankets and pillows for the rest of the evening. Please bring as much as you need to be as comfortable and warm as possible. Please don't bring any glassware, instead opting for plastic cups or even a flask. Bottled water will be available. The team will help you prepare as you get settled. The session starts with some clear quartz crystals to hold, and a lapis lazuli crystal to place on your third eye chakra. (If you have your own crystals you can use them). We will ground ourselves into mother Earth, then with eyes closed there is some advanced breathwork for several minutes to prepare our body. The Intent for the session, and a short poem will be read out to help set the scene.

On The Last Church Bell - The Gongs Begin
As the last church bell fades into obscurity just before 9pm, the first Gong will begin, quietly at first, with a simple heartbeat, then picking up pace with added beats, then joined by Shamanic drumming before transitioning back to the Gong where it comes fully to life producing a series of complex overtones, and opening us up to the Universe. Jules, Micheal and Jane will facilitate this first hour session together, then rotating throughout the night using Gongs, Drums and different instruments, before once again joining together for the final morning session to welcome you back from your journey as the Autumn sun rises outside. Periods of silence or “Shunyata” will be incorporated into each session allowing the mind to rest and integrate the sounds
Bring as much as you need to be warm and comfortable. The heating will be left on during the night, but it is normal for your body temperature to drop during a Gong bath, as well as many other therapies. Loose fitting clothes e.g. tracksuit with warm socks or you can bring your pyjamas. Air beds, zero gravity chairs or sleeping bags with, blankets, pillows, eye shades, ear plugs, (sound vibrations pass all through our body and not just the ears so even deaf people can benefit, but useful if someone is snoring) slippers, and dressing gown. Bottled water is available all through the night. Below, the ultimate in comfort.
The All Night Schedule
Following on from the shamanic drumming for the next hour there will be a calming soothing guided beach meditation with the Ocean drums, this will help initiate your journey into the universe. And many will experience several different journeys during the course of the event. During the night and leading up to midnight the magical sounds from Gongs will resonate through your body, interacting in a positive way with every cell in your body, calming, balancing and harmonising. As your body starts to absorb the healing vibrations you can choose to meditate with breathwork, then / or drift off and go with the flow on your journey or daydream, then / or allow yourself to fall asleep. In all cases, you will receive all the beneficial effects from the healing sounds. With sound therapy brain waves start slowing down quite quickly taking you into an altered state of consciousness that is self-healing and has balancing, soothing benefits on the body and mind. With this extended event some attendees may find it beneficial to have several minutes “time out” from the Gong Space during the course of the night for your body to absorb and assimilate the abundance of positive energies you are receiving.You may also find that you need the loo during the night. A goody table will be available during the night in the kitchen diner area with bottled and flavoured water as well as light snacks where you can reflect, or rest for a short while before rejoining the group.
When you arrive the Sun will have just set, But this is the view of the Church and Church hall (right) that will greet you.
The Event Comes To An End
Eventually your journeys and the event itself do come to an end, as the Gongs and Drums slowly fall silent. This is not an empty silence however, it is a Sacred silence created by the Gong sounds receding and fading away, and in its wake leaving the Gong space full of intense profound healing power, which many people find the most powerful and serene part of the event, as we are returned to an intrinsic state of homeostasis, or optimal state of functioning together with the unique feelings you will have gained. As you slowly come back down to Earth, your body will be waiting for you, but it will feel different. Less Stressed, More Calm, Balanced, Uplifted and Energised. Most people say they feel lighter, and happier, having sensed and felt the Warmth and Unconditional Absolute Love of the Universe, in addition to the many psychological and physiological benefits. Finally as the event approaches its conclusion you will have several minutes to soak up the energies as the team read the last poem, signifying what the event, and being connected to the universe has achieved. A light breakfast awaits in the kitchen diner, where a selection of fruit juices,teas, herbal teas, coffee, bottled water and a range of fresh fruit, energy bars, biscuits and other snacks will help bring your body back to full awakening consciousness. You are free to share your experiences with others, ask questions from the facilitators and time permitting try your hand at playing some of the instruments, and taking photos before packing your cars and heading back home.
Dining Room we use for your light breakfast and can be used if you need to stretch your legs during the night, or want to reflect or just take a few minutes out with a cold drink, or snack from our Goody Table

It is our desire that everyone attending this event thoroughly enjoy the experience together with the many benefits it can provide. We as your hosts and facilitators are enthusiastic, excited and privileged to be providing the first ever all night Gong bath in the North East. In addition to the enjoyment and wellness aspect your safety and security are equally important. We have kept the rules to a minimum and in line with the church’s own policies and procedures. These are the essential points, there is a no smoking and vaping policy throughout the building at all times. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought in or drunk either before, during or after the event. Prior to starting the event the main doors will be locked from the inside together with the windows and this is essential for everyone's safety and security. No one will be able to go outside during the event for a stroll, smoke or a vape, with the exception of emergency situations. Please leave your mobile phone turned off.
Is it Safe For Me?
Crystal, Reiki and Sound healing combined together are generally considered safe for most people, regardless of age or fitness level. However, purely as a precaution they may not be recommended during pregnancy, or those diagnosed or suspect they could have Sleep Apnea, those with epilepsy, seizures, severe anxiety, or some mental health conditions, especially when taking prescribed psychotropic drugs.
This also applies to anyone who has had recent surgery, or has active injuries, a pacemaker or other electrical or mechanical device fitted such as implants. Vertigo or inner ear problems, acute migraines, high fever or infection should avoid this event. And for those who wear a hearing aid it is recommended that these are turned down or removed during the event to avoid any discomfort. (sound enters our body through our skin as well as our ears, so eve deaf people can benefit) For those with any other medical condition and feel concerned please speak to your G.P, consultant or medical practice manager before booking your ticket.
Experiencing Energies
While you are in the protection and safety of the Gong Space, many people will experience positive feelings of peace, bliss,contentment, happiness, joy, compassion and love throughout the session as your body begins resonating at a higher frequency, and your brainwaves slow from the combination of the Sound, Crystals, and Reiki Some sounds may trigger unpleasant and suppressed memories and emotions during the event that can flow to the surface. It is possible for some people to experience very brief moments of anxiety, grief or sadness while harmful negative energies are momentarily brought back into our consciousness, before they collapse, and fall away and this is a perfectly normal and a beneficial release to maintain our mental health. Should this happen you can restart your deep belly breaths. You can also restart the simple Inner smile at any point, aiming the smile at the centre of the negative memory, image or trauma which has come into your awareness. This will help to re-ground you, and minimise any anxieties or other negative feelings associated with the event.
Ordering Your Tickets
Please check the contraindications in the section is it safe for me above, and nothing applies to you and those you may be buying tickets for before ordering . Please note we are unable to offer refunds, however you can transfer your ticket to a friend or family member, for no additional charges. Should this be the case please let us know as soon as possible that you are no longer attending, and let us know who will be taking your place, (you can do this right up to the day before) so we can issue a new ticket to them. Please advise us if you have any allergies, or specific dietary requirements regarding food and drinks. Also let us know if you need to take medication during the night or anything else we need to know about, to ensure your safety and enjoyment of this event.
Ticket Options
The cost per ticket is £125.30 (including a £10.30 eventbrite fee) and can be ordered by clicking on the Eventbrite photo above. However you can also order your tickets by completing the form below with your details and sending it to Micheal. Once I receive your order I will manually order your tickets minus their fees and Eventbrite will send them out to you at your email address. By ordering direct from me the cost is £115 per ticket, Saving you £10.30 per ticket. To order your ticket simply use your phone to Scan the Bar Code below to pay your £115 using PayPal then, at the bottom of this page you can complete your order details, then click submit. On receipt of your order form and payment I will order your ticket manually through Eventbrite minus their fees and you will receive your ticket direct from Eventbrite via email.
Unfortunately we will not be able to offer you a refund in the event that you can no longer attend. However you can transfer the ticket to a friend or family member either as a gift or for the price you paid. Please let me know if you are no longer able to attend, together with who you want to transfer the ticket to.
In the unlikely event that the Gong Bath cant run and has to be cancelled for reasons outside our control we will refund all attendees with the same amount they paid for their ticket.
Healing Bowl
There will be a healing bowl in the Gong Space where you can add yourself, family members, friends or work colleagues to receive a daily Distant Reiki healing session. Simply take a note sheet, write the names of those you want to be added, fold it in half and place it in the bowel. Every day one of us will connect everyone to the Reiki source where they will receive each day between 8pm and 8am the following day for 10 days.
Bring Your Crystals to the Gong Bath
If you have 1 or 101 crystals feel free to bring them with you. You can place them near one of the Gongs on a tray with your name on. Crystals love and respond positively to sound as well as Reiki energy. The combined energies throughout the event will cleanse and rejuvenate them.
Goody Table
During the night if you find you can't sleep, or need “Time Out” to absorb the energy, take notes of your journey, need to stretch your legs or back, need a loo visit, or need some sugar for your body. There is a Goody Table located in the kitchen diner area, where you will find bottled water, flavored drinks, energy bars,a variety of biscuits, and a fruit bowl. The toilets are adjacent to the kitchen. If you have any dietary requirements such as being gluten free, vegan, vegetarian etc please let us know when you order your tickets and we will put a separate table aside with your Goodies on.
Information Table
Your facilitators will have a range of handouts on the breathwork we have been using, inner smile, different types of brainwaves, How Reiki and Distant Reiki work, Information on the Crystals you will have been using, as well as detailed information on Gongs and Shamanic Drumming. You will also find leaflets from each facilitator on all their individual Gong and Sound baths, as well as all their other practices.
This Sunset to Sunrise All Night Gong Bath is the first venture by the 3 Rams, Jules Buchanan,"That Yoga Woman" Micheal Fothergill and Jane Mason. In Native American tradition Rams or big horned sheep symbolise Creation, Resilience, Spiritual elevation, Inner strength and are associated with the Sky, and were often viewed as Guardian Spirits.
